National Working Committee · राष्ट्रीय कार्यसमिति
The Core Team.
The 12-member National Working Committee is the supreme decision-making body of the Cockroach Janata Party. Every campaign, every protest, every policy position goes through this committee. No hierarchy of birth, wealth, or caste — only competence and commitment.

National Co-Convener
The field general of CJP. Led the Assam ground mobilization where 40+ volunteers were detained by Assam Police. Regrouped the movement within 48 hours. Master strategist of ground-level operations. Coordinates with student unions and grassroots networks across Northeast India. His detention by Assam Police became a rallying cry that strengthened the movement tenfold.
National Co-Convener
Strategic backbone of CJP. Works alongside Ashutosh Ranka to coordinate national-level operations. Specializes in coalition building, political outreach, and ensuring CJP's message reaches every corner of India. Instrumental in building relationships with opposition politicians who now support CJP. Key architect of the Pan-India expansion strategy.
National Organisation In-Charge
The organizational architect. Designs CJP's structural framework — from state chapters to campus cells to ward-level units. Ensures that every city has a functioning volunteer network, every protest has logistics support, and every campaign has ground workers. The backbone of CJP's volunteer infrastructure.
Organisation Co-Incharge & North Zone Head
Commands CJP operations across all of North India — UP, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, HP, and J&K. Key coordinator for the Lucknow youth rallies and campus outreach in northern universities. Works closely with Ajinkya on building the party's ground network. North India is critical territory with the highest youth unemployment.
National Secretary
The administrative nerve center. Manages CJP's day-to-day operations, meeting schedules, inter-departmental coordination, and official communications. Coordinates between the National Working Committee and the five Joint Secretaries. Ensures decisions taken at the top are executed on the ground without delay.
Media Operations Lead & South Zone Head
Dual role — manages CJP's entire media strategy (press releases, interviews, press conferences) AND leads South Zone operations covering Telangana, AP, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. Coordinates with national and international media. Chennai student marches and Bangalore tech community outreach run through his office.
Legal Affairs Lead
CJP's legal shield. Manages all legal challenges — from the constitutional challenge to Mumbai's protest ban (Article 19) to defending volunteers detained by police. Filed the Bombay HC petition against Section 144 orders after Jail Bharo Andolan. Provides legal guidance during protests and ensures CJP stays within the law while maximizing democratic rights.
Research and Policy Lead
The brain behind CJP's data-driven arguments. Every statistic in the CJP Manifesto, every policy demand, every RTI filing is researched and verified by her team. Led the NEET paper leak investigation that provided ammunition for the NEET corruption exposé. Turns anger into evidence.
Technology Lead
Built and maintains the entire CJP digital infrastructure — cockroachjanatapart.com, member registration system, digital member cards, cockroach quiz, and the backend databases. Works with the Social Media team on tech infrastructure. Ensures 99.9% uptime during high-traffic protest events.
Finance Lead & West Zone Head
Manages CJP's finances with 100% transparency — zero corporate funding, zero government grants, only grassroots contributions. Also heads the West Zone covering Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, and MP. Was key in coordinating the Mumbai Jail Bharo Andolan logistics and financial operations.
East & North-East Zone In-Charge
Commands CJP operations in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, and all 8 North-East states. Coordinates with Ashutosh Ranka on Assam operations. Bihar is CJP's potential electoral battleground — Ankit is the point person for the possible Bankipur by-election entry.
